CNN is run by a bunch of noobs that have no sense of history, contribution or courage.   
I did not agree with her a lot but her service was performed with real grace.  Any person that devotes their entire life to service deserves dignity deserves respect.  

This only serves to prove the point that this coming generation in news and politics have a serious deficit when it comes to the dignity of long life, courage through illness, and real service.  
They’re little better than undeserving spoiled children. Pearls before swine.

The Founding Fathers foresaw the future that people living in the big cities would be educated or brainwashed into voting Democrat, despite homeless people pooping in the streets and dropping drug needles all over the place (paid for by government handouts), and they didn't want the big cities to dominate the country, since big city people are pressured to vote Democrat by other big city people in order to fit in with the mob.

That's why they made the Electoral College. 

Also the Democrats would like the Electoral College if their side won the electoral vote, but not the popular vote.

You must be in especially a bad mood today. 😒

1. They were imperfect human beings, but their goal was to eventually abolish slavery. That's why they wrote "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

Slavery started to be abolished with the northern states by 1808. It was practiced by pretty much every culture in history. Christian ideas led to its abolition, although it took a lot longer than it should have.

Some of the Founding Fathers were slaveowners, but it does not necessarily mean they mistreated them as badly as the cruelest masters did. 

2. The U.S. Constitution does allow for amendments, of course. However the U.S. Constitution is also one of the longest surviving constitutions in world history. Many countries have had to totally rewrite their constitutions. Yet, today passing out the U.S. Constitution is discouraged or even prohibited on college campuses because they are taught to believe America is the most racist nation on Earth and that the Constitution was a simply manual for slavery. Some people even call it "trash".

20 years ago, most people respected the Founding Fathers and were proud to live in America. People risked their lives to come here through many decades in the name of freedom. Even Obama made positive comments about the Founding Fathers at one point, but today that's no longer politically correct as it will cause depression for some college educated snowflakes who have been brainwashed by the radical left to think America is evil.

3. I have quoted them enough times, but here's another one from James Madison: 

"[In a direct democracy], [a] common passion or interest will, in almost every case, be felt by a majority of the whole; a communication and concert results from the form of government itself; and there is nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual. Hence it is that such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths"

They did not want a direct democracy, but a constitutional republic.

You're still free to hate the Founding Fathers if you'd like though. They were imperfect people like all of us and they realized that humans were not generally good. Today the radical left believes humans are generally good, despite all the racism that still exists, and blame these things not primarily on human nature, but on other external factors, such as capitalism. They believe that if we transform the economy in just the right way, racism and evil will disappear, everyone will get along, all problems will go away and we will have a utopia.

So people can knock down statues of George Washington and even Abraham Lincoln, burn down cities and cause billions of dollars of damage to businesses all in the name of "equity" and ending systemic racism. At the same time they can preserve the statues of Joseph Stalin.

Systems are run by people. People are sinful. One of these sins includes racism. Therefore any system run by humans will continue to have some amount of racism, as long as imperfect people are in control of it. 

Today it seems many people think it's crueler to make women or "birthing persons" suffer through an unwanted pregnancy than for people to be thrown in prison for hate speech or their religious beliefs. That's why LeBron James thinks China is a better place than America, and college students post "Are you a communist?" posters on campus.

The left are naturally softer on border protections due to their ideology and are banking on more votes due to historical demographic voting tendencies.

The right gets cheap labor and something to rile up their base up with.

We could have both physical and electronic that would be second to none.
This is about more than cheap labor. This is about changing the electorate.  They believe all these people will vote Democrat.  But many Hispanics I know down here are Conservative as it aligns with their faith.

I want to know who the f*** made the decision to leave our entire border, N,S, E, &W, wide freakin’ open?  Clearly we have a delusional administration when they say “the border is secure.”   
“Secure”. Right. Come the hell down here and watch the work of the coyotes, the cartel, and waves of humanity and fentanyl crossing the Rio.  

Every nation deserves a sovereign border.  WTF happened here?  
Who made the decision and why does the federal government turn a blind, and very foolish, eye.

(1) The borders are not “wide open.” It is illegal to cross except at approved checkpoints. People are routinely apprehended for disregarding them. Perhaps the enforcement is not so draconian as you might wish, but that does not make them wide open.

(2) Not all nations have “enforced borders;” some of them actually are wide-open. Feed “Schengen area” into your search engine of choice some time.

I’m sorry but they are crossing anywhere they can.  Approved checkpoints are for people with papers and news outlets.  
On the Arizona border where I have family (in US & Mx) they cross where ever they can. 
My family in Tucson sees this problem every day.  Tucson used to be very safe but southern Tucson is seeing some issues in the desert. My family is there.  
Texas is no different. There are approved checkpoints and cartel pathways.  There are few rules there.

The crime, drug mules, migrants cross  through the desert/ranches. Happens away from large metros. Ranchers have a hard time with water pipes/faucets left to run out on ranch land or are broken, homes, barns, and sheds are broken into, occasionally cows/calves slaughtered.  
It’s not the picnic the news folks might portray.  Many seek city/ state shelters but not all as quite a few have criminal records.  It’s a cross section.

Latest national poll shows Haley pretty much dead-even with DeSantis. Still a ways behind Trump, obviously. Everyone else barely reached 5%. 

Time to thin the field.
