Not awful, but not that good either.

I've never seen an ensemble mean that consistently cold. -5 or colder throughout the entirety of the run is insane.

You have alot to learn.

Thought it was better yesterday, but I guess I was wrong as usual. Now comes all the vitriol for my mistake.

You are going to be happy with the weather about 3 or 4 days a decade then.

But he also loves hot weather.  ;)

If we're just talking snowy weather, maybe but I do feel our Winters will start to get snowier and colder through the next few decades. We're well overdue for another 1949/50 and 1968/69 type Winters.

Yeah, I love heat waves as much as I love snowy Arctic Blast. In general I love any form of extreme weather.

I fully agree with the second part of this.

No Its all good. This is a place to learn. Whenever you see it -5c or colder for a few days or more that is very good. This shows the entire time.

We come from the land of the ice and snow.

The FV3 looks amazing all the way through hour 330 where it shows a backdoor blast. Hard to believe that a 19th to early 20th century old school cold February is on the table.

Snow totals on the FV3 are amazing too, if we get even half of this I think most aside from Snowsquall would be thrilled

Cannot stress this enough:

Please correct me if I make any silly mistakes, and I'll do my best to rectify them!

That's awesome for us, but absolutely historic for California. I don't think I've ever seen an actual model output for snow on the Central Valley floor or at basically sea level south of San Francisco. Wow.

Awesome to see the Euro keep snow going well into Monday morning.

Based on the 6-hour maps, it looks like it is forecasting a widespread 2-5".
