The precip around Portland is actually what is moving north and forming the deformation band... need that Portland radar back up!

WRF does not really show much precip tomorrow morning... although its probably wrong as usual.   It does not even agree with the GFS which its based on.   :rolleyes:

00Z GFS shows its still going Friday evening with another low forming.   The only caveat is that temps look to be a little above freezing in the lowlands.

Radar returns are just blossoming out here... has to be a good sign for areas to the west.

 

Going to end up with over half a foot at this rate... its coming down at a good clip again.

I notice the radar is really blowing up East of HWY 18 and just East of the Issaquah Alps. 

 

Hopefully that keeps expanding west a bit more. I would like to see even heavier sustained snowfall.
