Guest Sounder
I'm still not sure on the difference between the two or which algorithm has better verification but here is Kuchera totals through 4PM Tuesday. More than the 10:1, FWIW. The Kuchera ratio takes into account temperatures in the lower atmosphere when calculating ratios, so it accounts for features like a warm nose better. End result generally means wet snow will show up with lower totals and if it's cold, it will show higher totals. I've seen conflicting and pretty much only anecdotal reports about whether or not it's more or less accurate.

Requiem
This is the first time I've ever seen the EURO be so consistent with a potentially major event in a very long time.
