Rippin again. 4.5” down and still heavier snows building to the west. Pure fluff. Gotta be 20:1 ratio stuff. Point up to 3-7” for today.

Congrats buddy...you guys are cashin' in Bigly today...it's gotta look like a winter wonderland up there!

Us in the metro have been fortunate to be under some heavy bands these last few storms. We’ve been lucky for sure.

Oops, I posted in the wrong thread earlier. I was just thinking this; after watching us be rather unlucky in comparison to places like Rochester the last couple years, it is nice to see a turn of events. Looks beautiful up here. Things just started to lighten up here and you look in prime position for tomorrow as well! Man I missed winter.

The dry air hurt us for a while, but I ended up with the expected 1.4 inches of snow from 0.12" liquid.

I love how every model had central Michigan getting no snow. Snowing real hard. Should pick up an inch.

At least your/our local office nailed the INCHER :P

Another 0.0 here.

It appears the models may have been way off with part of the best snow band.  They pretty much all had nw IA over to Mason City getting the brunt, but instead that area barely received anything.  There are no spotter reports at all.  The radar loop suggests sw to central Iowa stole their snow.

They did say a heavy dusting. Most models had a big donut hole over us though.

Says "Dusting to an INCH" and their morning map actually had 1" for you and I - they nailed it imho

Sweet! Gonna look like actual winter this week! Still a few flakes falling here but about over, so measured at 0.7" since it began about 4:30

Not the ~2" many models were painting before the split N or S trends, but better than the 1/2" revised amount from today. Right between broom and shovel worthy amounts. Went with broom for the deck since there's no piles to lift it onto, lol

Truly baffled. How can I be so far ahead of you when every snow seems to target Iowa this winter. Did you not get snow in Nov?

I'm wondering how I'm ahead of the Iowans on here. Was it our good November? I mean they've been getting nailed for the past month and we've been getting their scraps.
