PDX up to 45. That escalated quickly.

Not the greatest thing ever.

Warm nose is here to Tacoma area now  What fun it was while it lasted. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it snow, very heavy at times for about 5 hours.

Hope everyone to the north gets to enjoy it for a long time!

I am not seeing snow anywhere south of a Maple Valley to SEA line now.

Weird, the NWS is still going with the possibility of an anafront snow-event of some kind for PDX. Maybe my elevated location could do okay? Only the mesoscale models really have this feature though. On another hand, the rain is very heavy, and will probably be even heavier tonight into tomorrow morning.

For the first time this entire event it looks like the snow is starting to stick to roads! I thought it would never snow again. We'll have to see how much this event can be redeemed during the next couple hours. NWS point forecast calling for up to 8" here which would be pretty nice.

Unfortunately I'm not at home currently and my weather station just decided to go off line! How will I know how close to freezing it's getting?  :)

Still snowing in Olympia. Switched to rain for about 10 minutes, now back to snow. Hanging on much longer than anticipated. 19" at my home at 200 ft. At least 15" DT at sea level.

Yes... should have made exception for Olympia. Warmer air bypassed you. :)

You're gonna do well with this event if the heavy stuff does setup over the metro area.

Has changed to rain in Maple Valley. First post here, I felt like SE King County could use some more representation (other than Jim)

That is a bad sign for Jim.      Might turn back later though with heavier precip.

Yeah, I bet he’s disappointed. I thought we could hang on for a while longer with this setup. Still can’t really complain... have about 10” on the ground here.

Just out of curiosity, how much are you at so far today?

Maybe 2 inches?

But its hard to separate last night from today... there was only a short break.

Hi - I've been lurking and learning

snow started here around 1 pm while it was 36 and it is now down to 32

I've lost track, but at least 4-5 inches so far today which would put us near 18-20 inches since this started last week

(in the hills between Renton and Issaquah)
