We had a few supercells in southern Arizona yesterday. Nothing at my place, but I could see the storms in the distance. Pretty incredible for this part of the country. Probably had 3" hail and a tornado at one point but it was in the middle of nowhere.

First potential snow and cold/stormy pattern to track for the Intermountain West and Rockies next week. The GEM looks the snowiest at this point here, with a very cold pattern for the whole West.

Yeah pretty major cold wave coming. Looking at highs in the low 70s down here and lows in the upper 40s. SLC should get snow, possibly pretty heavy.

Still looking like a very strong trough is on the way in. I'll be in Texas and will miss the cool temps, but it might cause some rain down there so at least there is that.

Sounds a lot like California.

It doesn't get anymore active in California than this.

We've had a few days in the 70s but pushing 90 again today and tomorrow. Overall, the bite of summer heat is gone. It's getting to the time of year that Phoenix isn't so bad.

Stagnant weather continues with highs in the upper 80s and sunny. Looks like we drop to near 80 F next Tuesday and stay there.

All quiet here with very warm temperatures in the upper 80s most days. Should cool back towards 80 late next week. No rain anytime soon.

Going to be the latest snow on record here. I had very low expectations for this fall/winter, but this is brutal.

No real signs of anything big coming up either.

DEN hit 73 today, just two degrees short of the warmest December temp on record.

Make it end...this fall and now going into early winter has been absolutely awful. One of the worst if not the worst in terms of dryness/warmth.

I would be in heaven if the 18z verified.

Countrywide drought.
