Jesse 8910
Gone forever because someone was butthurt.I thought Fred just deleted it since he doesn’t like political content on the front page of the weather side. It’s too bad, that was probably the most popular thread I’ve ever started! Even though its orignal purpose was to siphon sports talk away from the main weather thread.
El_Nina 1184
When you're cooking and the water starts to bubble over up and go over the sides, just give it a good blow. The bubbles evaporate and go down, stopping disaster and allowing you time to go grab that canola oil.
iFred 5192
I dont delete stuff, it's just hidden. I set a rule of no politics and I mean, no politics. I could care less if some of you really want to discuss it here. It isn't a matter of my views on the matter, its that these threads seem to generate more complaints (from very fine people on both sides) than responses. I really want to start encouraging mets and weather journalists to chime in on the forum, and dumpster fire political threads dont help. If you guys really want to discuss, take it to PM or Facebook, but not here. Sports, North Bend drizzle, and gardening are fine though.

Driving into Eugene yesterday afternoon there was a herd of about 40-50 elk grazing along I-5 about 3-4 miles north of Eugene just north of the McKenzie River. I knew the Coburg Hills had an elk population, but I had never seen them that close in. There is a new wolf pack in Western Oregon. It is in SE Lane and NE Douglas Counties. That was one of the more gruesome leg injury since Paul George and Hayward. d**n shame. Get well soon big fella. I'm not a big blazer fan, but hate to see an athlete go through that. One of the reasons I don't follow baseball as much anymore is because all my favorite players seem to get injured on an annual basis... Pretty much every promising pitcher misses 1-2 years of their career with an elbow injury. The nice thing about the NFL is they have figured out a pretty good way to protect their QB's.
