Congrats Chicago for just barely achieving a new all-time daily late season snowfall tally of 2.5”! I think this bring the season total close to, if not, breaking the 50” mark.

This was a pretty good storm overall. Before the rain switched to snow, I got 1.05" of rain, and 0.3" of sleet/snow. 

 

My final snow total for this winter is 50.9"

Does that include the blizzard of '78 ? That was a whopper.

My liquid total from this storm was 1.12". Would have been epic if it was a bit colder!

Not sure what the mix of rain / snow was here, but my gauge caught 1.16” of liquid, which matches up with what the Dubuque airport had.

Congratulations to all who scored the late season snow and broke the snow season records with the last gasp of what has seemed like a steam locomotive of a winter(for everyone else, "cough, cough"). It got loaded up and hot in late September for some and just never quit going.

This 49 mile stretch of hades missed out but I can bet I won't next year.

Looks like a subtropical humid hardwood "rainforest" around here right now.
