Yeah I’ve gotten measurable snow in Nov, Dec, Feb, Mar, and now April. And a trace in January. Pretty cool to have gotten snow for 6 straight months though I wish Januarys snow was measurable. Tonight would probably have been a pretty decent event for a lot of people if it was Dec or Jan. I still feel like a lot of people will at least see snow in the air. I wonder how much longer it’s going to continue IMBY I’m down to 32.8 now.

Down to 38 here with the rain picking up. Radar is filling in over here and will probably see flakeage soon. Splat tests are very positive!

Getting ice pellets and rain mixed now. Probably a sign that we may see some snow soon. Very interesting radar loop almost like an arctic front sagging down through the Puget sound…just the early april version.

Had some light rain/snow mix but not much out here... at least not yet.   Activity seems to be more focused towards the Sound.

That’s what it looks like on the cam….like a wall cloud moving south. Will see if I can get a time lapse to work to see the motion of those clouds tonight

I haven’t seen any flakes yet just been some hail mixed in with the rain so far. Heaviest precip hasn’t really worked in yet.

The GFS is close to what we have now by day 9 and 10.   Pretty funny... persistence is hard to break.   I have assumed there would be no warm spell for a couple days now.  I am sure there will be some decent days mixed in there regardless of how it plays out.

Hard not to get some nice enjoyable outdoor days this time of year. This springs been chilly so far…but it seems like there’s been more nice days mixed in than last spring so far.

Wow. What the heck happened on the 00z GFS.

Down to 30, about another half inch with that last shower. 3.4" on the day and a little over 2" on the ground.

Probably won't see much of the foothill snow moving forward, but definitely a lot of mountain snow on this run!

It kind of surprises me you haven’t seen any measurable snow the past 34 years in the PNW after March 1st. From what I can remember I’ve gotten measurable snow past March 1st in Apr 2008, Mar 2009, Mar 2012, Mar 2013, Mar 2019, and now Mar 2023 and even had trace amounts in Mar 2017 and 2020 and Apr 2022. So it’s been pretty good IMBY after March 1st.

I've had trace amounts but no measurable ones. YVR recorded a trace last night, and wouldn't be surprised if a few flakes fell here when I was asleep. But the measurable-snow jinx continues.

Mind you, other than the jinx continuing, it's been a great winter IMBY.

We had some rain/snow mix at times last night and some rain/hail/snow mix but never any straight up snow as it never dropped below 35. Still pretty chilly for April.

It's amazing how the GFS has just completely abandoned the idea of any ridging at all.

At 5am, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Seattle were all reporting either flurries or light snow. Not bad.

Lee's Camp had a good bit of snow overnight. Some precip making it over the coast range, I wonder if it'll be snow.

Over spring break my daughters school announced they would be making up their snow days by starting 15 minutes early each day the rest of the year. But they are currently on a two hour delay today...

I went to bed around 11p and we picked up 2.5" between then and 6am, not sure when though, but looks like more moisture about to move in. Great trough to end winter with, though I'm not convinced it is our final flirtation with snow up here...
