Let's just say that's a little earlier in the season than I was expecting to experience my first Fraser outflow event as a Bellinghamster. If it is still clear after it calms down, I wouldn't be surprised if I see some frost.

What part of Bellingham are you located? I would be surprised if we see frost down near the water, but certainly is a possibility the further north and east you go from town.

Edit: just saw you are up in the Cordata area. I play soccer up at WCC on the weekends and the winds get downright brutal up there!! You are definitely in a prime location for the winds (both Frazier and when we get a big fall storm with strong southerly winds).

He knew you weren't going to get the sports reference.

I do not like that movie. He busts his a** for 4 years, so he can get in for a few plays. Talk about a waste of time.

I got the reference.

If it was ever parodied on the first 12 seasons of The Simpsons, I’ll probably get it.

I met him at the Seaside Convention Center during my senior year in high school. It snowed the next day.

Temp is up to 60 at Hope. So the front is north of there. Clinton BC is down to 48 with a north wind. This is looking pretty tame compared to

What they saw up there last year around this time.

Still 48 hours until the real cold air reaches even that area.

Coldest high the first week of October at Kamloops last year was 42. Coldest low was 31. So we'll see how this ends up comparing.

Truth is, most scholarship players aren't "inspired" by walk on, feel good stories. As the grind of the season goes on, they get tired of the walk on who goes hard all the time. It is not making the team better. Everyday players want to recover physically as the season progresses.

I was being a bit sarcastic with the current obs.

Clinton had snow as early as mid September last year. Sub freezing high on October 2nd. And a low of 9 on October 4. Kamloops numbers seem more attainable

Never said that at all. Looks comparatively colder down here.

The airmass last year must have really stayed bottled up north for the most part. I don’t remember anything too crazy down here. Other than PDX seeing a very early sub-55 high on 10/4. That must have been the “overrunning” event.

Use them wisely. He needs to pay for that accurate but clearly upsetting analysis.

He’s trolling a little. Would probably be the first to admit it. ;)

Although I can definitely see the draw to trolling Flatiron’s tendency to overplay recent or incoming airmasses.

Lol what? I called for a ridgy period in May superimposed on the background state.

That much I remember. You’re a liar.

In this case, we're comparing a very recent air mass to an incoming one - my overplay bias does not apply.  :(
