Glad I experienced it, but once was good enough for me. I was a 13 y.o. kid waking up to the other end of that bliz (east) in a small town about 50 miles north of Detroit. Due to the SLP coming too close and pulling warm air aloft, we got quite a bit of mix before if finally changed to snow. That was inside a very small area of sub-par snow totals (only 8.5") confined to SEMI. I'm sure it was bad out in the countryside but being in town, we didn't get that bad of drifting. Bliz of '99 closed some roads around Michiana when I lived there but as luck would have it, I was out of town visiting my sister where they (again) only got about 8". james1976
Saw a few flurries this afternoon! First flakes of the season! Amazing. Although very very light it's still awesome to see. Temp has not surpassed 39. Great way to kick off the weekend!

St Paul Storm
35 and light snow. Wind chill of 22. Pretty decent snow shield setting up to the west. Let’s see if it can produce some measurable snow. Crazy change from Wed when it was 73.
