westMJim
GRR official snow fall total for November still stands at 0.7" and at 1" for the season as 0.3" fell in October. But here at my house I had one inch on the 7th and there is still areas on snow on the ground here from that Wednesday snow. So bottom line is there has been some snow here in west Michigan but not much but then again it is way too early to think of how the snow season will play out, My guess for this winter here in Grand Rapids is at this time in the 65 to 75" range and believe it or not that would be below average in this area. jaster220
Could be at 14-15 for the season after tonight. Pretty impressive Obviously, I'm playing a game of catch-up with those west/SW of the warm GL's, but it's looking good to great for most of us sub-forum members. I think even our extreme N and S peeps have a shot at something special this winter. Just wish I didn't have to go a full 12 hrs between snow measurements due to work. 6 hr interval is more proper. I know on storm days like this, I'll lose some off my total due to compaction. I will sanity check my number against other reports and/or the NWS's map if they publish one.
