At GRR the November snow fall total is now at 6.5" and for the season the official snowfall at GRR is now at 6.8"  For the whole month of November the average snow fall at GRR is 6.8" and for the season the average at the end of November should be 7.2" (note at this time GRR is running above average in snow fall as that 6.8" average is at the end of the month)

:)  Great start here in the Mitt. Personally, I've already scored 16% of my normal seasonal total here downtown Marshall.

POWx mentioned in a vid yesterday a pretty impressive stat. NH is the latest state to join the 30" Club. Already in this very young cold season there have been 7 states hit by snowstorms where 30+ inch totals were recorded! (I don't have the full list as that was not given). It sure is a sign and signal of the flavor of this coming winter. It'd be great if more of us in this Sub could join those other regions in reporting an historic event. In the meantime, here's a snapshot of where we stand YTD:

Just for fun, here's the map from exactly 6 yrs ago (2013). For comparison's sake, we seem to be out-pacing that vaunted season to date.  ;)

12.9" here through today. Not really a bad start honestly, especially considering that I was sure December would torch in the 40s and 50s all month after the Oct/Nov cold episode.

Dean wysocki follows the LRC and here is his winter forecast.

https://www.klkntv.com/clip/14957492/201920-winter-weather-outlook

When did this come out? It's interesting that he says the main snows will be in December and March, yet here we are almost 1/2 way through December and nada and the next storm is going south of us as well....

I seen him mention it in his forecast last night. If that verifies Lincoln will have back to back monster winters. I really think this year will be way colder than last year.

So far through 6 different accumulating snowfall events, I am sitting around 5" total this season of snowfall for my backyard.

Compared to how others are doing all around us this total doesn't look so great... hopefully that will change in the next few weeks.

Same situation as you. Likely at 4.8 or 4.9" right now. Granted climo here doesn't support a ton of snow before the new year.

At this time the December snow fall total here at Grand Rapids is at 8.4" this is below the average at this time of 11.8" For the season the total is now at 15.2" and this is also below the seasonal average as of this date of 19.3" and it looks like this will stay the same for the foreseeable future

Where I live monthly snowfall amounts are moving downward so far this season! I had 7.5" in October, 2.2" in November & only 1" so far in December amounting to a season total of 10.7" so far.

December precipitation is only 0.16" so far, but yearly total is 48.46". Upper 40"s is not unusual here it seems though it shouldn't have been hard for me to reach 50" if the last 4 or so wks. wouldn't have been so dry.
