It's possible. However, Lima, Peru has the crappiest climate considering it's in the tropics. Sometimes the fog does not burn off for weeks.

Marine push finally brought the valleys down 15 degrees or so. Didn’t quite reach Reg’s neck of the woods; they could still scrape 80.

Immediate coast is still struggling to clear. I enjoyed a couple of hours of hazy sunshine but it’s already flowing back in…

Thermal low in December. The 2020s really are remarkable.
