Anti Marine Layer
Sky is a little bluer again today and there's actually some clouds that are not smokostratus or cirrosmokus. 1

Dan the Weatherman
Today was the clearest that it has been here in Orange in days! The sky was actually blue and the Santa Ana Mountains were visible from my window.
Reg
Today was the first non-smoky day here inland as well, but it was a bit hot - 104F. Warm tonight as well.

Pn1ct0g3n
Might be the last two shower day of the year. Haven’t been this sweaty from a walk in a while. But I welcome it. Gets the toxins out.

Anti Marine Layer
We are coming to that time of year where the angle of the shadow of a south facing wall on an east or west facing wall is approximately equal to your latitude throughout the day. On the day of the equinox the shadow of the tip of a sundial will trace a straight line throughout the day.
Reg
Remarkably clear today for the most part, however some low-hanging smoke began drifting around during the late afternoon/evening here.

Thunder98
By this time last year, the marine layer was already gone for the season. This year its' much more consistent and entrenched.
Pn1ct0g3n
And I’ve noticed more days this year than previous where it was shallow but really stubborn near the beaches, resulting in days when it was barely 70 here and close to 90 just 3 miles inland. Anti Marine Layer
Nice breeze bringing in the clean ocean air in Irvine this afternoon. Although there are still some areas of smoke over the ocean, it should be quite high up by now.

Anti Marine Layer
It cooled off quickly this evening. Sunset tonight was 6:46 PM, as compared to 7:02 PM on the Spring Equinox. Sunset is getting earlier twice as quickly as the sunrise is getting later, which was 6:39 AM today. The Equation of Time is kicking solar noon backwards about 21 seconds each day. Worldwide everywhere has a little more than 12 hours of daylight today. The sun is visible at both the North Pole and the South Pole 24 hours. It sets at the North Pole in 2 days.
