Dan the Weatherman
It has been raining here in Orange tonight since about 11 pm, and has been mostly light with a couple of moderate showers as well.
Anti Marine Layer
This has been a pretty pathetic storm so far. At one point during the nigbt, however, it was raining pretty hard.
Anti Marine Layer
Looks like the atmospheric river will be staying in Mexico. They can never get these cutoff lows right.
Reg
1.09" since midnight here. Coming down pretty hard again right now.
Reg
A burst of very heavy rain just occurred here, I had rainfall rates of 2.74"/hr for a minute there. Looking at doppler radar, it seems a microburst affected me - we just took a direct hit from it. Jumped from 1.09" to 1.22" in a few minutes.
Reg
I was out walking in south Temecula a couple of hours ago and got caught in a severe microburst from hell, drenched all of my clothes.

Thunder98
Since Monday I recieved 1.07" of rain. Underperformed yesterday and massively overperformed today.
Dan the Weatherman
I picked up 0.48" here in Orange with yesterday's storm. It was nowhere near a bust, but well under what was initially expected. Hopefully with the next storm, actual totals match up better with expected totals.
Anti Marine Layer
Looks like rain and cool weather is here for a while, even if it does not amount to much. Forget the fact that Spring Equinox is a week from today.
Anti Marine Layer
The solid cloud layer right now will not bode well for convective thunderstorms.

Reg
Light showers have started here as well, it's quite dark outside. My favorite. 0.06" and very slowly rising.
Anti Marine Layer
Looks like this has become more of a stratiform rain event than convective. These stupid cutoff lows are so hard to forecast.

Reg
Rain has become steady and rather persistently heavy for the past two hours. I didn't think we'd get more than 0.50", right now I'm sitting at 0.93" and still rising fast. Just heard a rumble of thunder as I was about to hit "Post". That's the first one I've heard so far. Anti Marine Layer
Rainfall totals have mostly lived up to the original expectations for this storm even though yesterday was the biggest rainfall day as compared to Tuesday, which was supposed to be the the biggest rainfall day. Super Tuesday mixed up with Super Thursday.

Anti Marine Layer
The lousy weather could actually be reducing number of people who go out and maybe slowing the coronaviurs spread. Hope there's a record breaking heat wave all summer long that would also reduce the number of people going places. Might also help weaken the virus.
