We’ve lost the gfs

Told you time and time again to never trust any model but the ICON. See?

Because of the southern shift for the midweek system, cold air is probably locked in place a little bit longer, which would allow the next system to come in as a big overrunning event before turning to rain. W e'll see.

Hour 150, very much an overrunning signature for Puget Sound-north.

Weaker (to my knowledge, at least) typically means less tendency to curve northwards early. Meaning that it stays more southward.

What he meant was it wasn't as good for the Santa Catalina mountains east of Tucson. C'mon everyone should know that.

I actually didn't think about how a more powerful storm might cause the downsloping off the cascades to eat the snow, thought stronger would mean more precip for everyone, learned something today.

Just got back from a drive, its running 35-37 up in the Barkley Hill/Tweed Twenty area of Bellingham with a little bit of a mix falling.  I took a quick drive up to the Toad Lake area (@ ~1k ft) and it was a very slushy rain.  Temp on my car thermometer (which is pretty accurate in comparison to the weather station at my house) showed 33.7 up there at the water tank on Sapphire Trail.

I had my suspicions as soon as he showed up. Now I'm pretty much certain.

I feel really bad for him if he's not :(
