Interesting...the radar over me is full but nothing seems to be falling.

Radar was solid over me for the last hour and there was just a few flurries.

All being well, we should have our first freeze since Dec 28 tonight.

My car was an ice cube this morning. Had to scrape off plenty of ice from yesterday's rain. Not sure what the exact temp was though. I just checked and it is frozen again. Hoping for a few flurries, but not expecting much.

I think we will be dry for a while now.  It was a good decade. 5 out of 10 winters since 10-11 have been solid.  A helluva lot better than the 2000s.

Had an additional 2" today, so there's about 8" on the ground. Of course the drifts are much higher so I made sure to measure specific areas.

48 hour total of 7".

Friend of mine in Sunnyslope, east of you at 550' said he has 3" of new.  Not sure how accurate but he said it's really been coming down.

He's inflating numbers. I used to live there and it snows pretty good there. Almost 2.5 inches here and the radar has been much more solid here than in sunnyslope.

We come from the land of the ice and snow.

Any recent long range model goodies? Lookin' at you dj. You single handedly gave us some wa lowland snow with all your enthusiasm. You gotta do it again but include pdx this time! :)

Long range talk has been prohibited until the last flake has fallen.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Pretty amazing to see the stuff over at Kitsap on the radar, it literally turns straight north as it wraps around the mountains.

We are already in the "warm sector". Such as it is tonight. It's not going to move solidly into Seattle. It's all lifting north.

Yeah looks like I’m under some good stuff but it’s not much more than a flurry. Bummer

For those of you in Bellingham, have you noticed that tonight’s snow squeaks a little bit when you step on it? That’s because of the cold; it is very rare to get such snow on the West Coast. If it were colder, it would squeak louder.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Seen so much snow falling at night lately my eyes are tricking me into thinking I’m seeing snow falling whenever I look at something dark. Is there a name for that sort of thing?

Lol, did that a few times tonight.

In fact I stood so still and focused at the street lamp a Herein complimented me!
