Omegaraptor
What’s wrong with Colorado? Denver is probably my #1 or #2 ideal “move to” climates as of now.Either that or a lake effect climate like Muskegon or Erie that also gets severe thunderstorm action.Denver summers seem great for me since they combine warm-to-hot temps and no humidity while still having lots of thunderstorms. Unfortunately winters there look way too dry. Not too keen on having snow well into spring, even if it melts quickly.
MossMan
Yet give him one drizzly summer morning and you’d think he lived in the worst location on the whole forum. Drizzle in the summer is dumb. Give me one or two nights a week of a full out downpour in the summer and I’m happy. We get enough drizzle from October thru April. Quote Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth! Jesse
How was the ridge or did they shut it down? It was open, and awesome! Easily 70-80mph gusts, some of the strongest winds I’ve felt anywhere outdoors besides Crown Point. Plan to post a few pictures when we get home.

Cloud
It is absolutely howling out there right now. Just wanna point out the GFS caught this windstorm pretty early on as well about 1.5 weeks out. I remember at one point it was showing a 945mb swirling into BC. Obviously this one is no where near that but it got caught it early and northern track is spot on.
