BrianJK
Officially 1.1” at ORD...dense and wetter snow...Yep, pretty much slop except for trees and grass. Makes for some nice scenery though. I wish there was a way to see how much of our total “winter” snowfall (which gets measured on a snowboard) actually accumulated on pavement and stuck around for greater than 24 hours. Would provide a more accurate depiction of how this winter has truly been. The official snowfall stat as it currently stands would be misleading to anyone who wasn’t present here this winter.

Tom
About 1.8" of wet/dense snow on my deck...polar front roaring down the lake with an embedded band of heavier snow...the scene outside looks so picturesque and I can't wait to see what it will look like in the day time. I'm hoping to squeeze out 1.5" throughout the day as a secondary wave is supposed to develop as the arctic front makes its way into the area. Tom
What a neat experience to see the polar front make its way through! The winds and snow simultaneously increased and it was like a whiteout for a little bit. Temps are dropping like a rock and the winds are picking up. It almost felt like something you would see in the summer time when a line of severe thunderstorms comes through. Pretty awesome I must say.
