BTW, if your place has run out of hand sanitizer ...besides soap and water there's this.

Same formula as hand sanitizer.

70% ethyl alcohol

30% aloe Vera.

It's that time of year where if you get some sun temps will exceed forecasts by 3-5 degrees everyday.

Yesterday may have been my last snow cover day. Which wouldn't hurt my feelings at this point.

Looks like some colder air returns by weeks end and perhaps some more snowshowers, but nothing impressive I think.

He saw no indications of an unexpected pattern change to turn the middle of your Country really, really cold!

It's that time of year where if you get some sun temps will exceed forecasts by 3-5 degrees everyday.

We have significantly under-performed three of the last four days, whether sunny or cloudy.  Yesterday, the warm day, we reached the expected temp.  Today, we are stuck under thick clouds.  The forecast called for low 40s, but we are stuck in the mid 30s.

season snowfall: 34.8"

Yesterday may have been my last snow cover day. Which wouldn't hurt my feelings at this point.

I remember the days where it felt more or less like a sad break up. As you said, I would have to concur with your statement as it didn’t hurt my feelings this year when my snow cover melted this past weekend. In fact, I decided to fly to AZ on Sunday and I’m thrilled to be here and “spring” forward into Summer mode! Prob will stay here for a while.

The 7-day forecast here shows nothing but 70’s/80’s into the foreseeable future. Spent some time at the pool earlier and had a severe warned storm blow up just to my west and tracked in an unconventional way heading W/NW towards Cave Creek. The position of the ULL has caused the east/west flow. These Spring systems are always neat to track around these parts.

Still lots of snow cover in N WI and the UP of MI.  Planning to head up there this weekend to get in what will likely be the last cross-country skiing of the season.  A lot of trails are still open and looks like they will be grooming them into the weekend.  After that, I'm ready for some spring storms.  Weather over the past several days has been kind of boring.

Even up there, they’ll be flirting with 50 this weekend. Just a light long sleeve T and you’ll prob be good.

Throw in the allergies TOL and you'd be a perfect picture of Spring!

We have rain rolling in today and heavy rain tomorrow, 1-2".

Generally dark dreary skies and rain. Yeah. Spring in Texas!

A few items on a Tuesday morning. There was a fantastic red sunset last night. At this time it is cloudy here with a temperature of 35. While there is a good chance of more snow this winter season yet but at this time the total of 48.5" would place this winter in the 3rd least snowy winter at the new location of the airport (1963) at this time the least snowy winter seasons are 1982/83 35.9". 1986/87 47.6" and 1979/82 48.5" Unless GRR reports more then 2.7" in March or April this winter will tie for 3rd place and unless GRR reports 12" of snow it will only be the 9th time in the last 62 years that Grand Rapids has not received at least 60" of snow fall in a winter season.

I was hope sick yesterday from school, first time in a long time so I wasn't on the forum.  Yesterday morning between about 4-7 AM a nice band of snow moved across our area dropping 2-3" of heavy wet snow with virtually no wind.  By 3 PM in the afternoon it had all melted.  Amazing what a March sun can do

I have a lot of family in Nashville area and it seems like this kind of came out of nowhere. I was about to go to bed and then realized a tornado was ripping through downtown Nashville. I was texting my aunt in Mt. Juliet making sure everyone was awake and taking shelter. Unfortunately this struck 1-3 am when a lot of people were sleeping.

Of course it will change, but today's 12z Euro has the season's first thunderstorms in NE/IA at the end of the run.  That's nice to see.

We need the rain here after a very dry February. We're fine for now but if it remains dry then I wouldn't be surprised to see 90s by early April.

The little system passing through Iowa tonight appears to have dried up quite a bit.

A burst of snow overnight laid down a swath of white, clearly visible on satellite, between Cedar Rapids and Dubuque.  There are no spotter reports other than a 0.5" Cocorahs report north of CR.

I'm glad they busted on their forecasted high temps. My hill is holding up nicely, and it's surprisingly busy. Looks like I get one more week at my home hill. If we really get half an inch of rain and temps are in the 50s on Monday, I am in some trouble, next week will be difficult for them to make it through.

Rain, followed by more rain today.

We've received about .75 so far but I have no doubt we'll exceed 1". Rain is a nice shower very consistent.

Nothing stormy, just constant rain. Widespread flooding in saturated soils.

East Texas Piney Woods will see 4" of rain. Wow.

This will continue until tomorrow around 9-10 pm.

Good day for chili !

I am really craving a decent rain event.  Monday appears to be our best chance in quite a while.

Fire danger. There's something we didn't hear all last Spring!

Last Feb: Very Cold and snowy

This Feb: Very warm and dry

Last March: Cold, melting snow, flooding

This March: Very warm, no snow to melt, drought, might be a fair guess...whiplash for sure compared to last year

I've received 1" of rain today. More through early morning.

Three days of sun then another chance. 56*

The low is circling and the next group of heavy rain is on the way.
