Weather gal from King 5 tonight is broadcasting from home tonight, and she is drunk as hell, it is hilarious to listen to her!

That’s awesome!

So far this troughy pattern has been pretty underwhelming from a surface temps and active weather standpoint. Temps at PDX have reached mid-50s both days with lows only in the low to mid 40s. And nothing more than moderate rain at times with a spot or two of hail and a rumble of thunder here. Hopefully it can put up some better numbers the next few days.

That said, the generally cool temps, rain at times and mountain snow have been great to see regardless. Especially the snowpack recovery.

00Z EPS looked much improved as well... not going to post it since I don't want to jinx.     Really could use something other than cold and wet weather every day but probably won't happen.

Ending the month with a 53/36 average here. Ten freezes, and 2” of snow on the 13th/14th. Just under 3” of precip. A cool, dry and sunny month overall.

PDX ended up with 2.43” for March, which is 1.25” below average. Average temperature was 46.4 there, which is 1.8F below average. It was the coldest March since 2012, but much drier than that month.

Currently crystal clear and 44 here.  Going to be a cold one tonight!  I consider it a good cold snap when it's able to clear out with a cold trough in place.

Gfs has a major snow storm here in mid April. Yea that’s likely.

Wrong thread... I actually posted the same thing a minute ago.

Holy crap the 0z GFS is cold!  Even in the short term it shows a lot time spent with northerly surface pressure gradients between now and Sunday night.  After that it gets insane later next week.

Currently 37 degrees and clearly heading below freezing by morning.

This is the March thread. Do you have the power as a mod/admin to pin the April one?
