2.5-3" of slush in the grass depending on where I measure so I'll go with 2.75". Looks like KLNK has reported 3.5" so far.... seems a bit a high but believable I guess since it's on the NW edge of town.

Moderate/heavy snow still hanging back towards the Tri Cities. Wouldn't surprised to see some double digit totals for some places in Omaha metro before this is done.

Ripping here again and the street is covered. Seems to be piling up faster than earlier. Still not going to get the 6-8" here but I bet OAX regrets saying that nowhere in Eastern Neb will get 6" today lmao

Full sun and low 50s in E NE tomorrow. It's gonna sound like a waterfall outside I'm sure.

Definitely going to be alot of standing water, but I suspect that the snow cover will limit some of the temps. Also try to post a pic but this is a neighbors car that hasn't moved all day. And the heavy snow on trees.

Measured 4.5" at my place as it's pulling out. I'm slightly bitter about barely missing the 8-12" band, but still enjoying the pretty night. Seeing the reports just to my northwest, KLNK is probably gonna come in close to 6".

The first 12" total has appeared in far south-central Iowa, where the 4-6" fell from the first weak wave early this morning.

Snow is falling in Iowa City.  The U of I webcam shows some nice, big flakes.

Big flakes here. Looks like a snow globe outside. Starting to stick to the deck and grass. Pretty scene

A heavy band on radar is parked over Iowa City.  The webcam shows it really coming down.  The grass is white.

The snow just started here.

I am already at 1.4" after only a couple hours.  It appears we have an overperformer.  I'd love to get a spotter report from Iowa City.

We did very well here in Cedar Rapids.  I have a beautiful 3.5" caked on everything.  That's double what was expected.
