gabel23
We have went from dry to wet rather quickly.https://twitter.com/nwshastings/status/1265005987540250626?s=21What was your total over the past couple days? I took the family to Lake Wanahoo over the weekend in our camper and got quiet the storm over night on saturday. We had 75 mph winds and my neighbors tail gating tent went flying 60 yards! I had my mom keep track of my rain gauge and we ended up with 4.5" of rain with possibly more tomorrow!

Nice, refreshing push of cool, Canadian air coming once that CF rolls on through by the end of the week. Niko
Absolutely gorgeous outside w not a cloud to be found. Temp is at 81F. I dont think the record was broken today. I dought temps even made it to the mid 80s here in Macomb. Most likely low 80s. No storms are happening today, but maybe a better chance as the CF approaches from the west by Wednesday and especially into Thursday. Until then, dry, unless we get a pop up storm due from heat and humidity outta nowhere. St Paul Storm
First severe weather risk of the season here later today. Pretty decent setup despite a lack of sunshine. westMJim
With the H/L of 86/64 yesterday was tied with 2018 for the 6th warmest high for any May 25th and the low of 63 is now the 11th warmest minimum for May 25th. If is stays at or above 64 until midnight today will be the 4th warmest minimum at Grand Rapids. The record high for today is 90 set in 2010. At this time here at my house I have a temperature of 82 with a DP of 72.
Bryan1117
The Omaha metro is getting into some more decent rains this morning, as a band of moderate to at times heavy rain is moving slowly across the area. Seems odd to get rain like this in late May without any thunder/lightning or severe weather. My rain gauge is now nearing the 2 inch mark total for this event, going to back to Friday afternoon's showers through this morning. It appears today we will be making up quite a bit of the precipitation shortage that has been plaguing us since the start of the year.

Bryan1117
Looks like there are currently two active tornado warned cells in Central Iowa, looks like things are getting going a bit out there. Hopefully you can score a decent storm out your way Hawkeye and other eastern Iowa peeps. The steady rain from this morning into early afternoon has now come to an end here, I just dumped out 2 1/2 inches of rain total from the storm system, from Friday until today. It's a humid but still kind of chilly 65 degrees here, while socked in with plenty of clouds (it would be hard to believe it's late May without looking at the calendar). Things are going to green up nicely around here once the clouds clear and things warm up a bit.

bud2380
not sure what models DVN is looking at with this statement for the weekend. A northwest flow and surface high that follows will return highs tothe 70s over the weekend with overall dry weather. Rising heightsand advancing upper ridge will then bring a warming trend going intonext week.
