You’re missing the point. The point, as is often the case, is that Phil is trying to fit a square weeks out shockcast plea for attention into a round hole. The change in air mass is a pretty small piece of an usual puzzle. Taken alone, it’s fairly run of the mill.

Around 12k in lightning strikes in the PNW!  One more shot of the current 24 hour lightning strike map.  Just blows me away!!!

Some of the stations around SEA reporting almost 2” of rain today. That would be more than the average total for the entire month of May.

Looks like there was a tornado in Culver Oregon today. I’m hearing reports of lots of damage to farms and fences. A few roofs as well. Hmmmm
