May 2020 Weather discussion for the PNW

Recommended Posts

Up to 0.53” now...still raining decently. Doesn’t look like we will be getting any more boomers this evening. Also noticed it’s getting breezy now.

.70 here today and we have one last heavy cell getting ready to move through.  Awesome day in the weather department !!!

still 54*

You’re missing the point. The point, as is often the case, is that Phil is trying to fit a square weeks out shockcast plea for attention into a round hole. The change in air mass is a pretty small piece of an usual puzzle. Taken alone, it’s fairly run of the mill.

This doesn’t make sense or address what I said.

Snooze.

Looks like there was a tornado in Culver Oregon today. I’m hearing reports of lots of damage to farms and fences. A few roofs as well. Hmmmm

Prayers for a quick repair to their conference call infrastructure!

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

I bbq’d some steaks tonight on that same bbq. Also some bacon wrapped scallops.

Just 0.05” of rain here today. West wind kicking up a bit now.

Nice!! I BBQ’d cheese burgers, salmon cheese burgers, and zucchini!

I’m up to 1.38” on the day, just a tad more than you.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

.88 precipitation and 52*

Was a good set up for you to get more rainfall than me today...I’ve noticed I generally get slightly more rain at my location normally. Must just be the fact I’m farther west maybe.
