Definitely the kind of morning worth fretting over on the 240 hour models today.

As usual... the details of the patterns in the summer matter way more up here than down there in terms of tangible weather.     Just the way it is.

Sort of like how easy it is for my area to get snow in the winter while you guys have to fret model details at 240 hours out.

It's definitely rained more here this month than it has in the Central Sound.

Up to 60...has actually been nicer than expected. Partly sunny but pretty breezy as well. Wouldn’t have any clue it was raining up north without radar.

Got up to 72F briefly but now down to 70F. One of those days where you can just open all the windows and the temp is the same inside as outside. A few clouds and any potential moisture down here will be within the next 24 hours according to the morning GFS.  We shall see if the druncle gives us more than a couple hundredths of an inch possible.

Partly sunny and dry here... 64.

At least it's dry. Low 60's tomorrow in Winthrop. At least it should be dry. Kind of a brutal night tonight though, upper 40's w/ 20-30 mph winds... Ouch.

Nights like that aren’t uncommon at all throughout the mountain West. I certainly wouldn’t mind having nights like that.

There’s a “July” thread now but someone named it as a second June thread in what I believe was a failed attempt at humor.

Until it gets pinned, there's a "Recent Topics" tab on the far right hand side of the page. Easy way to find the newest threads.

Ice age?

Could very well be. As I sit here in the chilly gloom, I think I hear the movement of distant glaciers as they advance southward...
