Phil
At only 84hrs, the GFS and ECMWF look nothing alike with the trough axis over the PNW/BC. Relatively speaking, of course. My money is on Dr. Euro, obviously. It’s literally a decade ahead of goofy at this point. And because the latter has been trolling me all summer with false hopes of of severe storms and rain. Phil
AAM is in the tank right now, rooted in the subtropics, and there’s not much meridional propagation either. So it’s probably not going anywhere anytime soon. Fits the idea of an enlarged 4CH and dry/warm middle latitudes overall. But also provides easier conduits to GOA/NPAC ridging, IE: modern warm season -PNA. 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=
