TT-SEA
SEA needs 12 more days at 80+ to dethrone 2015 (51). That might be a little tougher to do. 2023 is currently 12th on that list as well. One interesting year in the top 10 is 1961 with 45 days at 80+. 8 of the top 12 are from the last decade. The other years include 1958, 1961, 1967, and 1987. 2023 will pass up 1987 and 2013 this weekend and move into the top 10. 2 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**

TT-SEA
This is what the 12Z Canadian smoke model showed for late this afternoon... seems to be overdone in my area as there is almost no visible smoke out here but maybe underdone up north based on reports from SW BC. Ken in Wood Village
I was looking at the 18Z GFS and something looked a little familiar. I downloaded the 500 mb height anomaly and 850 mb temperature anomaly. Around the 129 hour, it starts looking like an Omega Ridge like we see during the winter time. You can see low pressure system riding over the ridge like the winter time. If this verifies, there's a chance this ridge could stick around for awhile. That's only if it verifies.
