Well...the Wenatchee Mountains, Okanogan Highlands, and the Selkirks in NE WA are pretty awesome.

It was an ugly drive back from Bend. My car was covered by ash and it was super smoky/yucky in Bend. On the way back there were lane closures, delays, pilot cars, fire trucks, helicopters, etc. There are plenty of new fires, unfortunately. Hope we can get some relief in the next few days with cooler temps and perhaps some rain.

52F this morning at my place. Currently running 2-3F cooler than last night at this time, so perhaps we can get a new seasonal low.

Roller coaster season is upon us.

Shhhhh…. Remember, it’s terrible and dangerous here. Might even be forced to look at some poor people if you’re not careful. Best for folks to stay away.
