Crash back to neutral maybe. Short lived/borderline niña episodes are possible but I think we’re done with the heavy/multiyear niñas for the remainder of the 2020s, and that the next 5-8 years should be +ENSO leaning.

I’m not just wishcasting this, I was sounding the trumpet for a prolonged multiyear niña in the early 2020s as early as 2016. Now the script is preparing to flip (IMO). We’ll see if I’m right.

Looks like most of the Willamette Valley is socked in with low clouds. Not up here, we are at 30 degrees this morning under starry skies. East of the Cascades I see 18 at K-Falls, 14 at Burns, and a chilly 12 at Lakeview, the "tallest" town in Oregon at 4800'.
