It seems to me that the posting of every frame is not that useful unless we're staring down the barrel of an arctic blast (or lost in fantasy land for a potential blast). I think the gif at the end is sufficient, but I also appreciate the commentary so not saying that it has to stop.

I do have questions about the accuracy of ERA5 reanalysis. Though this trend is 1973-2022 as opposed to standard 1991-2020 climatology.

I got a question for y'all. If you could set up a weather station anywhere in the PNW, assuming the last century or so of records being accurately filled in, where would you put it?

I'd love to set one up near Cathedral Peak up by the border in the north Cascades. Good Arctic access, high alpine Cascade climate. Probably one of the more wild locations for snowfall in the world.
