Israel will never be "ended" anytime soon.  Not going to happen.  It does not matter whether one loves or hates Israel.

But what that data tells you is that the new generation is sending a very clear signal that Israel's past and current practices are going to come to an end.  It's political suicide to American and Israeli politics.  People know more now than ever about what both sides are doing.

I think the extremists on both sides would rather the other side just magically disappear.  It just so happens that one is killing juuust a bit more than the other.  And one side has the power to keep the other from being an actual state with autonomy.  It has been stated on camera as the goal all along.

The definition of genocide:

"The deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group."

1. "The deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group" CHECK

2. "With the aim of destroying that nation or group." Divide their population, taking their land, blockading imports, and keeping a terrorist organization in power to prevent them from forming a nation?  CHECK

Will Israel wipe out the Palestinians?  Of course not.  Birth rates and population totals prove that.  But the Israeli hardliners are doing their best to take Palestinian land and dilute their culture.  They want them out to make room for a larger Israel.  That's an immutable fact.

And on that last point, one could correctly argue that they are waging some sort of coordinated relocation "genocidal" (to use the term loosely) effort.

Trump has referred to his opponents as “vermin” who are trying to “destroy America and to destroy the American dream,” and claimed that immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our nation.” The Hitlerian overtones have not gone unnoticed. And yet, the man who promises to be a dictator on “day one” leads the GOP primary by 50 points. How could this be? The horrifying conclusion is that there is plenty of appetite within the party for this sort of rhetoric and it doesn’t turn many people off.

Surveys back this up. A recent poll of likely Iowa caucusgoers found that 42 percent of them were more likely to vote for Trump based on his assertion that immigrants are “poisoning the blood” of the country. Twenty-nine percent said the comments don’t matter, and 28 percent responded that it would make them less likely to vote for him. In a national poll, 42 percent of Republicans identified themselves as “MAGA” conservatives.

Which is to say, Hillary was correct. About half of Republicans hear Trump’s rhetoric and think, “Yes, this exactly what I want.” These are the Americans who believe they should be forever atop the social and political order because of their race and/or religion and are angry at society for changing in ways that have leveled the playing field even a little. Trump promised these voters that “I am your retribution,” and they are planning to hold him to it.

Which is to say, an unbreakable plurality of the GOP explicitly wants fascism. Another 29 percent are OK with it as long as it doesn’t directly affect them (though I expect a lot of them are going to unexpectedly get their faces eaten by leopards). And of the remaining 28 percent who don’t like it, Trump’s approval ratings within the GOP as president suggest that most who don’t like what he is saying will pull the lever for him anyway in November 2024.

That poll should not be surprising to anyone who has been paying attention to some of the 'discussions' on this thread.

We need a third-party more badly than ever to cripple MAGA and establish a moderate party that dems could also join.

People on the left who complain about Trump being the next Hitler and at the same cheer for Hamas are delusional hypocrites.

President Isaac Herzog on Sunday displayed an Arabic-language version of Adolf Hitler’s autobiographical manifesto “Mein Kampf” that he said was found in a children’s room used as a base by terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip.

Herzog held up a copy of the Nazi leader’s book during a video interview with the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg and said it showed the nature of the hatred that Israel is fighting against in its campaign to destroy Hamas following the terror group’s shock onslaught last month.

“This is Adolf Hitler’s book, ‘Mein Kampf,’ translated into Arabic,” he declared. “This is the book that led to the Holocaust and the book that led to World War II.”

Herzog said the book was found a few days earlier on the body of a Hamas gunman in a child’s bedroom, “which became a base used for terrorist activities by the terrorist organization Hamas.”

“The terrorist wrote notes, marked the sections, and studied again and again the ideology of Adolf Hitler to hate the Jews, to kill the Jews, to burn and slaughter Jews wherever they are,” he said. “This is the real war we are facing.”

IDF saved 2 Hostages in Rafah, which proved that Hamas literally spread them out far and wide so they can extend the war as long as possible, Biden also appears to be turning his back on Israel.

God D**n Biden is failing on his relationship with Israel, especially politically.

He needs to stick to his guns on this, at least publicly, and strongly side with Israel cause that's what he did originally and what he's always done.  He was consistent.  If Israel decides to bomb a 1 million person city with no respect for life, he'll have to change just like public opinion will change.  But I fail to see what has changed since day 2 of Israel's response to their 9/11.

If the man tries to pretend that he wasn't a super pro Israel no question asked sort of candidate, I'm gonna be mad.  He's going to piss off everyone when there's generally a binary opinion when it comes to politics.

Hamas LOVES to exploit civilians for their own, even the UN has been exploited by Hamas!

We do know it's an anti-Israel and anti-sematic one, so it is likely an extremist running that account.

Sooo, the horrific conditions in Gaza lead to desperate Palestinians rushing food trucks to get food and the IDF starts shooting causing the drivers to flee and run over scores of people:

https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/29/middleeast/gaza-food-truck-deaths-israel-wwk-intl/index.html

The IDF is NOT some elite force like we are led to believe.  They are mostly amateurs who make idiotic mistakes/decisions.  Their training pales compared to a lot of the U.S. forces.  There is so much wrong with their tactics and strategy, I don't even know where to begin.

The only conclusion that makes sense at this point is mass retribution for Oct. 7 and the cleansing of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Israel is just a comedy of errors, stupidity, and atrocities right now.  They are literally creating the next generation of Jihadists before our eyes.
