I doubt that will start WW3, the only way it happens is if Iran decides to get directly involved with the aid of the Russians.

The USA bases in the Middle East have been attacked by Iran

Perhaps, but there's been a lot of rhetoric on all sides lately and nobody seems to want to chill out.

So, there are now fake accusations that Israel is intentionally committing War Crimes against Gaza?

What's fake about what is being said?

Israel accused of “collective punishment” on the siege of Gaza.

“Forcible transfer of civilians," fake, they encouraged them to get out of certain areas because Israel is interested in eliminating Hamas, but not the Palestinians, it seems like that even Israel understands that Hamas also brutalized Palestine.

And the use of white phosphorus, which is NOT Illegal to use as long as it's not intended to be directed at civilians.

Also the fact they are trying to invalidate Israel's right of Self-Defense.

They did a raid recently, but the occupation is going to wait because they are aware it's going to be long and ugly

Per the WSJ, who cited both Israeli and US officials, Israel has agreed to delay the ground invasion per the request of the US government. This delay is until the US can get its newly deployed defense systems up and operational throughout the bases in the region, which should be completed by the end of this week. This is due to the expectation of retaliation from Iran-backed terror groups against our troops once the invasion begins.

The war will be long and ugly regardless of when they decide to pull the trigger.

1. Regarding collective punishment, that's exactly what they are doing.  If extremists lived in your neighborhood and the U.S. government destroyed the entire neighborhood to get to them, you'd be pissed.  Now let that play out for over 50 years.

2. Regarding forcible of transfer of civilians, that's exactly what they are doing.  "Move because you will die if you stay.  Even if you are poor and have no place to go.  Even if you are stuck in the hospital.  Move or die."

3. The use of white phosphorus in urban combat is just stupid.  Of course there are civilians in the area.

4. There is right of self defense, and then there is looking for a reason to bulldoze the area and develop it as your own.  You ever wonder how one of the most secure borders in the entire world had the lapse in security to let such a large and very visible incursion happen?  I do.

Again, the fact that the Israeli government has propped up Hamas in Gaza to weaken the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank to prevent a legit Palestine from happening tells me that Israel's long term goal is not peace.  They, the world's crazy Islamic hardliners, and Zionists around the world are guided by delusions of destiny rather than reality.

One would think that all of this would be an incredible incentive to turbocharge divestment from our reliance on fossil fuels and to say "audios" to the entire region and let them handle their own affairs.  Guess not.

I really don’t think there was much going on in the lead-up but Hamas and Israel both misreading the other.

Hamas thought Israel was still prepared to offer VERY stiff resistance at the border, and as such used a massive attack in anticipation of such resistance, because anything less than a massive attack would result in zero hostages being captured.

Israel wasn’t aware Hamas was planning a big attack, and had scaled back security at its Gaza border, because they were expecting an attack from the West Bank and wanted to move resources to that border.

As Freud once observed, “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.”

It's called clown range for a reason.

1. Hamas is very clever and will hide inside buildings, Israel does not have many other choices to eliminate them.

2. This was from the Leaflets, they did this with the intention to make them try to get them to go out.

3. Civilians are not the main targets, the article said that

Quote

“the general rules for the conduct of hostilities, including the principles of discrimination and proportionality,” and “feasible precautions” are taken “to reduce the risk of harm to civilians.”

Don't forget to throw China and North Korea in that nasty group. New axis of evil. Wonderful.

Luckily, Russia has proven to be pretty freaking inept at war. They were expected to roll through Ukraine in a few days and here we are going on almost two years later. So outside nuclear bombs, not totally concerned there. Also, Hamas militants are peons compared to other Iran-backed proxies, like Hezabollah, who are generally much more sophisticated in their weaponry and organized in their plans. Not good either way but Hamas is the lesser of multiple evils.

1. Sure they do.  If they absolutely must go in, go in with special forces and kill known members of Hamas.  That's only buying time of course, but it sure beats the crap out of leveling entire blocks.  Carpet bombing is the best recruitment tool for Hamas, bought and paid for by the U.S. taxpayer.  You wanna get rid of Hamas?  Get rid of the conditions that breed its survival: happy civilians do not turn to killing others.

2. Does not address the obvious.  Those leaflets are just a sad CYA beforehand.

3. That's nice.  Only a moron thinks that all civilians are going to pack up and leave their lives behind and let Israel turn what they know into rubble.  Would you do that?

I've read that the reason Israel has refrained from an all out attack is that China recently showed up with several of their battleships. China long wanted to be the world's superpower and they see our weak leadership which emboldens them to flex their muscles too, and know they need to quickly make their moves while Biden is still in office. Also wouldn't surprise me if they'd invaid Taiwan soon. I think China (the CCP) is our biggest threat of all because they'd like to conquer the world and the USA, which they're trying to do in a clever, sly way by brainwashing young people through TikTok, buying our land, etc. They also use pretty Chinese women spies like Fang Fang to woo some of our compromised politicians like Eric Swalwell. And Mitch McConnell having a Chinese wife doesn't help. The current administration is in bed with China. But don't get me wrong. The higher-ups and CCP are the problem as usual, and regular Chinese citizens are mostly good people.

Then there are those awkward Opportunists seeking to run for President while schmoozing with the head of State of a nation confronting our Navy as it protects our bases and interests in the Middle East. A nation clearly not our friend and who owns land here, manufactures much of our medications, and supplies much of our electronics

Ukraine had a lot of Pro-Russian corruption and defaulted on their debt before Volodymyr Zelenskyy was elected. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been doing a massive corruption purge, Ukraine's previous President wanted Russia to slowly absorb Ukraine back to Russia, but when Volodymyr Zelenskyy was Elected and he stood up against Russia by applying for NATO, Russia wanted to have none of it, and made an unjustified invasion into Ukraine. At first, it seemed like the intention was to take out Volodymyr Zelenskyy
and install a puppet government (like Belarus). When that didn't work, they now want ALL of Ukraine to be annexed to Russia.

This is also for @Stormy, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is Jewish. And that is a confirmed fact.

Russia may be inept at war, but they're pretty dang good at using proxies so that we're preoccupied with the middle east and forget about Ukraine and public support wanes.  Without our weapons for both Israel and Ukraine, they would both be toast.

The best thing in the world for Putin right now would be a regional middle Eastern conflict they don't have to directly participate in.  If it happens, I would not be surprised if a lot of the former eastern bloc falls to Russia since we're yoo busy fighting Iran in the middle east to give up our weapon stockpile.

Might be time to buy some Lockheed, Boeing, and Northrup stocks.

Just because he's Jewish doesn't mean he's not corrupt.

Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, etc also are Jewish as were/are many politicians, and most of them seem to be Democrats. Zelensky's also kind of a dictator since he's persecuting the Eastern Orthodox Christians there, maybe because they're connected with, or pro Russia?

Hamas leader claims innocent civilians were never the target of their October 7th attack. He might want to have communicated that more clearly to his minions prior to the moment they flew into and stormed a MUSIC FESTIVAL where they proceeded to kill hundreds of INNOCENT CIVILIANS.

Load of crap.  They were told what to go after, loaded up on drugs, and went to work killing people and taking hostages.

It's the kind of attack one would expect from angry young militants who are brainwashed and told that this is how you fight your oppressor.

Just say what you mean: "This is what you get for what you are doing to Gaza and The West Bank".

There are no "oopsies" in carpet bombing entire blocks to look for Hamas, and there are no "oopsies" in killing innocent Israelis like barbarians.  Both are done out of blatant disregard for human life.

Why allow some dunce on X to digest the article for you?  Just read it yourself.

"Israel fumed after the vote, with Foreign Minister Eli Cohen decrying the “despicable” resolution and insisting that “Israel intends to eliminate Hamas just as the world dealt with the Nazis and ISIS.”"

That rings hollow since they allowed Hamas to fester in Gaza instead of helping the PA in the West Bank gain power.  But that might lead to an actual Palestine, and we cannot have that...

Edit:  This dunce is a "Proud Zionist" and ILF CEO, so yeah, much better to read the article yourself.  He's just a much more refined and intelligent version of Hamas.

This conflict is so old I doubt they can accurately date - not that it matters.
However, it will go on long after we’re gone.
These people can not and never will live in peace.  It’s a waste of time debating it.
But that won’t stop people doing it. 😉
