At some point it got pretty windy by the looks of the mess outside.  It was pretty calm when I went to bed, and pretty calm when I woke up though.

Getting awfully dark out here. Was going to start the storm clean up but I think I’ll watch the Husky game a bit longer and see how things transpire outside.

As all of us here are aware, Sequim, Port Angeles and surrounding vicinity is a well known rain shadow. Really wish I would've purchased property there years ago. It's a neat area to get away from the hustle and bustle of the greater puget sound.

I was surprised to see snow on the ground on the Blewett Pass webcam today.  Must have fallen from an earlier system.

Any drive over Blewett is terrible.  So many accidents there.  Winding and steep at times with so many aggressive and impatient drivers.  Every accident is either someone passing when they shouldn't or someone going too fast downhill around a corner.

I once saw a large RV passing another RV going downhill around a corner, and barely missed an RV in front of us going uphill.

Well that was fun!! Driving up to Burlington for the kids school function and we saw lots of lightning and what appeared to be a funnel cloud beginning to form but then began to sheer? I know nothing about those sorts of things. Then we got hit by big time hail that sounded like it was going to break my wife’s windshield. My wife and kids were not pleased but I was having fun!
