Nothing here, but apparently my son at 600' got some sticking snow, about half an inch. Looks like it was coming down pretty good in the video he sent me, hopefully Portland will get some snow too.

What is depth? 8? probably getting a ton of compaction.

Yeah it's about 8-9" on the deck and up by the house, out in the field it's closer to 10-11". Definitely a ton of compaction, I think I mentioned yesterday, if I had been scraping my snow board with the morning snowfall I would have probably measured 7-8" instead of the 4.5".

I wish i had done that in 2019, i just let one storm go till i had 13 new and it was more like 18 or 20 probably if i had measured it every 2 hrs.

What a difference a couple hundred feet makes. Nothing here in Springfield so we’re keeping that goose egg for a median seasonal snowfall in the cards.

The snow over King County is suspect... it shows it falling mainly between 1-6 p.m. tomorrow and again between 3-7 p.m. on Sunday and shows temps in the mid to upper 30s during most of the accumulation on Jim's map.   He said it was nighttime snow but its really afternoon and early evening snow.

By next weekend the average high is in the mid 50s so upper 50s would be very close to normal.   Much closer than the current low to mid 40s for highs.   But I am sure a few people will tell us it used to be in the 40s all the way through June and that is a "classic" PNW spring and the way it should be.   The averages tell a little different story.  😀

Seems like in the last decade it's about 50% odds of getting at least one 65+ day in March. One can only dream on a day with godawful weather like today. Can't wait for the clocks to move forward next weekend.
