 Coastal hugger.

In other news the air quality here is green! They were also able to contain the nearby fire with only a few properties damaged. Although I'm sure it feels even worse to those who lost their homes.

You can thank one "ignorant and selfish a**hole" for setting his car on fire and pushing it off a cliff for the Park Fire.

Thankfully he was caught, but good luck holding Zeus responsible for the Oregon and B.C. fires.

The smoke doesn't look that bad on the visible sat pic even over a lot of OR.  That could change though.

The thing that made him even more stupid is the vehicle has many ways to identify whose it was.  He may not have even intended to start a forest fire.  If so that would make him even more stupid.

Pretty absurd that PDX could be stringing together another 7+ days of 90 degree highs.  Our summers are so far removed from what they were just a decade or 2 ago.

A beautiful 75 here after a lower than expected 55 this morning.  My July ended up tied with 2022 for the warmest over the past 32 years here at 66 even, just over 3 degrees above average.  No smoke here please.  I ended up with 1.43" of rain in July.

You just gotta move up here I guess.  Sunnier, warmer and drier summers.  And more snow in the winter.  ❄️
