I posted a link about a book and multiple people went on rants unrelated to the book aside from the word Russia.

I'm confused. You posted a link and then directly quoted a portion of that link that only spoke about Trump and Putin. So, yes, I then responded to your post... about Trump and Putin... by mocking Democrats infatuation with... Trump and Putin. Am I missing something here, or you just trying to deflect?

Also, curious what you think the portion of my response was that was "snowflake" like? Calling out your side's inability to move on from the 'Trump is a Russian asset' conspiracy and the desperation that shows? Mentioning the plethora of other ways you guys can score points against Trump? It's not clear to me where I was a "snowflake" but please do enlighten me.

New polling from Fabrizio shows Trump is up by 2 points in Arizona while Gallego is beating Lake by 7 points.

Just goes to show how horrible of a Senate candidate Kari Lake is. Apparently losing the governors race wasn't a big enough sign for her that voters weren't buying what she was selling. Hopefully she'll get the picture this time around.

What I posted/quoted was saying that trump is clearly friends with Putin. Not that he was some secret asset.  Not that trump is trying to overthrow the election with Russia.  Which is exactly where you went.

You might be ok with our president being bffs with dictators who want America to go away....but I'm not.

What would be fair is for the Dems to have a bombastic candidate like Trump who rants and raves and says crazy sh*t every day that is completely off the wall and divisive and then force the Republicans to accept it and not being able to complain about anything that candidate says... while the Dems nitpick every word and phrase the Republican candidate uses.  I truly hope that happens some day following the Trump model.  😀

Ah yes, my apologies for drawing conclusions of your post. I assumed that you were connecting what practically every Democrat leader in this country has professed for years with Trump's apparent friendship with Putin. Those two things definitely don't belong in the same conversation as they are very different. I should have known better.

As for your backhanded dig - just as a reminder, I dislike Trump just as much as Tim does. I might not harp on it as much as he does, ad freaking nauseam, but I very much do not like the guy and I still do not plan to vote for him. So your attempt at painting me with some broad MAGA brush falls a bit on its face. Got anything else?

Also, still waiting to hear where I was a snowflake in my original response to you...

I hope not. Dealing with Trump, all these years, has been exhausting. I just want some people in power that will work together for the good of the American people. We are the United States not the Divided States.

Trump is absolutely BARNSTORMING now. He has two events tomorrow in PA, Aurora, CO on Friday then an evening rally in Reno. Saturday the PRESIDENT will hold a rally in Coachella, CA and Sunday he will close the week in Prescott, AZ. More events are being added daily.

GA and NC are done, most likely.

If PA is called on election night that's basically ballgame. That also means that it's a 2+ point victory in PA, which bodes extremely well for the other parts of the rust belt.

A few hints on how the night will go. What is the margin in Iowa? That'll point to what MI/WI/PA/MN will do. Pay attention to SE New York returns. They'll likely be done counting them before NEPA, and that'll inform you on how the eastern part of PA is voting outside of Philly. If VA is within 5, NC is likely to be called early.

It won’t be a landslide by any means, but electorally-speaking it should be pretty convincing. Far from a mandate victory, especially since he’ll probably lose the popular vote by a couple million+.

EC is not going anywhere.  It's in the best interest of red states and swing states to keep it.  An Amendment to eradicate it would never get the required 38 states to vote for it.

It won’t be a landslide by any means, but electorally-speaking it should be pretty convincing. Far from a mandate victory, especially since he’ll probably lose the popular vote by a couple million+.

But he will act like it, which will help to foment more chaos and unrest. Just like last time.

So, this happened where I live. During COVID our beloved Prime Minister got creative and called those of us without the mRNA shot a “fringe minority with unacceptable views.” (We wear that as a badge of honour and have gotten much mileage out of it). He had no shortage of denunciations then. But when openly Jew-hating, Canadian flag burning, death-to-Israel-death-to-Canada chanting ingrates do what they did a couple days ago, what’s the response from the Trudeau Liberals? Crickets. Police are looking into it.

Much like the left in the US ranting the “far right” is a danger, our beloved Prime Minister repeats the same airhead talking points and likewise ignores where the real danger and agitation comes from. Can you imagine if this was a white power rally? Wow, would the Trudeau government be apoplectic.

Edit: love the pussyfooting of the media: “anti-Israeli protesters.” Let’s be honest. They’re Jew-hating terrorists or Jew-hating terrorist sympathizes. Get the hell outta the west and crawl back to the sewers you came from:
