But I don't have a horse in the race.   As I said... if it were up to me right now I would probably go with a Trump win.   We saw what happened last time he lost and this time it might be worse.

I try to keep my replies as short as possible, gives Tim less to work with and he has to reply differently than he normally does, which he did on my comment for a change.  Now, I will probably get a weird tongue lashing for my reply to you lol 😂🤣.

Yeah that’s why it would be the worst timeline. It would be like pouring gasoline on the fire.

Plus, I want Trump to face his verdict in court. Justice actually being served for once would be nice.

The only real case is J6.   And he deserves that one for his complacency as the rioters stormed the capitol.   He was the president at that time.  But I don't believe he will ever be held accountable even if he loses.

So why all the hand wringing and pearl clutching over every single thing.... just let it ride man, be at peace with what you say and let it ride.

Yeah a few hairbrained extreme Trump supporters were nearly escorted into the white house by the DC police and some undercover FBI people.  Pelosi refused to allow the Trump requested NG into the area and has since admitted her decision probably caused the entire debacle.  So far most of the violent stuff has been displayed by the Antifa, BLM type groups which were basically fawned over by the democrat mayors and governors of the states suffering the most destruction.  If Trump loses the election with no obvious fraud involved there will be a peaceful retreat.

No choice but to let it ride.

But doesn't mean we can't call out the toxic rhetoric which makes it so much worse and more dangerous.

No way... because Trump will never admit he lost.   He literally can't do it.   So if he loses of course he will say there is fraud so he can say he won.    There is a 0.00% chance he would call Kamala after the election and concede like Hillary did for him.   That is admitting defeat and that can never happen.   That is a huge problem here.    So the easiest path out is for him to just win.

Considering this forum is not gonna change any minds or affect what happens in parts of the country, no reason to be obsessive about anything, so just let it ride.

Ya, more of the J6 situation is actually on Pelosi more than anyone else at the end of the day.  Saying Trump is at fault is like saying Biden is our current acting president.........

Hmmm... so Trump had no responsibility as president to put out a statement to the people who he literally sent over to the capitol to stop.   Regardless of what he said beforehand... he did send them there and even said he was going with them but then magically disappeared.    He waited 3 hours while watching it on TV.   Interesting.   Almost makes you think he wanted it to happen huh?   Of course he did.   That is the problem.

I will admit that Trump is a very bad loser.  I don't think that a loss would spark a bunch of violence from the right wing followers unless there is some obvious hanky panky again in this election.  The last election had some very unusual things take place in some very critical locations but the courts elected not to pursue any of the cases brought forward.  I'm not saying that the courts would have agreed that fraud had taken place but there was a lot of compelling evidence that never made it to the courtrooms.

He always said leading up to things, come peacefully, the rest was up to the ones that happened upon the scene.  Not gonna get in to a round table with you on this.  Trump did not incite anything, he asked for extra NG ahead of time, it was denied, LE let a lot of the people in at the start.  Trump saying to stop right away or when he did would not have mattered, things were already in motion.  Pelosi denied the required security when it was asked for.... that's very egregious.

Totally disagree.   He could have tried to stop it.   They came to hear him speak and he sent them to the capitol.   He had an obligation  to try and stop it immediately.     Whether it worked or not is not the point.   He failed to act and it was totally intentional.    He liked what he saw happening.

Here's the cackling witch admitting she let all the people in on "temporary protected status" apparently because there were some floods and mudslides in Haiti.

However "Temporary Protected Status" is normally used when a country has had a natural disaster which delays people who are here legally from returning to their homeland.

So they're not here legally.

What always amazes me when I am at the Capitol and the congressional offices is how lax security is. I don’t think people understand how easy it would be for just a few agitators or hot heads to breach the Capitol. Once that happened about 99% of the people who went in just wandered in out of curiosity. Now they should not have done that, but this wasn’t like a BLM mob during the Floyd riots bent on destruction which would have burned the place down.

What’s incredible is this guy was posted up there for 12 hours. I have no doubt he would have gotten shots off within minutes if the secret service hadn’t spotted him. I told my wife about how long he was there and she deadpanned “was the fbi bringing him water and food while he waited?”

I would be totally fine if Trump wins... it would be a smooth transition and life would go on as normal and maybe he would mellow out knowing he never has to campaign again.    If that is TDS then whatever.   I guess I just spend too much time listening to complete hypocrisy from the right wing media. 😀

I completely disagree. Cities like Portland and Seattle will see unrest if Trump wins.

They came earlier in the day to hear him speak.   He set that rally up for the certification day well beforehand.   Other people also spoke that day and further whipped everyone up.   He then sent them to the capitol.   And then sat back and enjoyed the show and did nothing.   No one knew how that was going to play out with all of congress being evacuated out the back doors.  It was a very dangerous situation.  He had obligation to try and stop it immediately.    He did nothing because he wanted to see what would happen.    It's BS to say otherwise.

You are 100% correct here. That is the ultimate hypocrisy of January 6th. Once politicians had the madness of 2020 on their doorstep they panicked and couldn’t contain their outrage. When it was happening to the rest of America for three months it was a healthy reckoning. They fanned the flames when they thought it was politically expedient. Then absolutely lost their minds when it was on their own doorstep. That’s why they still can’t stop talking about their reichstag fire. Because it serves them politically , and it’s a super duper big deal because it involved them!

Hmmm... interesting.    The governor of Minnesota called in the national guard to stop the destruction.   And Trump even praised him in a recorded phone call.    It was a constant battle between police and rioters all summer.  So many scenes of police in riot gear standing off with rioters.

None of it would have happened if Trump was president.   He would have stopped it.     Oh wait... he was president.

What in gods name are you trying to say here? Your logic is so flawed. Of course it happened while Trump was president, it was pushed by democrats and the media to hurt Trump. Obviously.

Sure, Walz finally called in the guard after ten blocks of his city burned down. Trump said finally f@ckstick. Here in Oregon the mayor of Portland and governor fought the Trump administration so the riots could continue. Same happened in Seattle. Harris  raised money to bail out rioters.

On second thought. How dare you. You know better, your argument is the moral equivalent of blaming a rape victim. It’s figuratively the same thing.

Blaming the Democrats for J6 is the same stupid moral equivalency.   It's figuratively the same thing.

Thank you for proving my point and admitting your previous post was intentionally dishonest. How redemptive.

The Dems were lunatics in 2020.   Doesn't excuse Trump for J6 though.

And even with the perfect set up in 2020... Trump still managed to lose the election.    Trump just being Trump.   He is trying hard to repeat it.

I’m not blaming them for it. I’m talking about their histrionic reaction. I’m saying they dished it out for 3 months but they couldn’t take it for 3 hours.

Little different when the intent was to directly overturn an election.  You can tell in videos that even Republicans feared for their lives that day.   They didn't know what was happening.   Go back and watch interviews with Republicans right after J6.

Threaten his life??   🤣 🤣

Wow.   That was a clever response to a completely silly question.    Man... you guys live in a glass house with the most prolific rock thrower ever.    Unbelievable.

That was in 2018 by the way.    Hannity had it on his program tonight to fuel his fake outrage and anger.   She said something mean about Trump as a joke... oooooooh I am so angry.

Here is something that should help ease the pain.

Its not really Trump.   He is just an angry old man.   Get off my lawn type of guy.    I get it.   Its the mental gymnastics of his supporters that is so amusing.    Just admit this is all a comedy circus.  Both sides.   😀

I just wonder how your reaction would be if all of the MSM was constantly spreading lies and misinformation about you, and many of your political opponents were trying to jail you with made up fake /phony charges, etc.

If these are accurate it is a shift for Harris, but this is only one poll.  538 has that state Harris +0.6 compared to Biden + 4 point something in 2020.

That is likely not accurate. More trustworthy polls are showing very favorable results for Trump. The media used to discuss Nate Silver's polls, but they are no longer mentioning him since he is predicting a Trump victory. Furthermore, Nate is a leftist. And they're still attempting to assassinate Trump, which suggests that there is a good chance he is ahead in the race.

The would-be assassin is someone well-connected, as he had been in contact with Ukrainian officials regarding other matters. He was not acting alone. There is likely a mole within Trump's inner circle who communicated with him, as how else would he have known to be there when this was not a publicly scheduled game?

Edited photo. I follow her on X, and her investigative reporting has been very accurate. But her and MTG do not get along at all and hate each other, but I think MTG is jealous of her and it seems women often don't get along well for whatever reason.😆🤔🙁

FBI said security was limited around the golf course since “hes not currently the sitting president”. He nearly got assassinated 2 months ago and hes got a very real chance of being president in just a few months how does that make sense?

The head of the Secret Service hates Trump and even they can't all be trusted!
