It always amazes me how the same people who a) take Harris at whatever she has said, and b) take it in the worst possible light, will c) wave off anything Trump has ever said as not serious. I mean, heck, even Ibrahim X. Kendi and rioting Seattle anarchists are taken are representative of the Democratic National Committee by many here! But take Trump at his word? Unfair!

Americans that say they have a 'great deal' or a 'fair amount' of trust in the media has fallen to a new record low. More Americans say they have a 'great deal' or a 'fair amount' of trust in Congress, the Supreme Court, local/state governments, and the executive branch than in the media. And that is saying something, considering how unfavorable most Americans already view those institutions. 31% of Americans fall into the 'we are apparently not paying attention' category and trust the media. 33% fall into the 'at least we are more honest than SnarkyGoblin' camp and say they have 'not very much' trust in the media. 36% are in the 'we can think for ourselves, thank you very much' camp and have absolutely no trust in the media. https://www.axios.com/2024/10/15/media-trust-gallup-survey
