[Cold Snap]

Was very foggy this morning here with a low of 53. Visibility was easily about a quarter of a mile.

Normally I save $ for our food at the end of the month, but I wasn’t about to let them take the kiddo’s hobby away from her so I used what I had to help pay for what few classes we can afford from her.

As I am a dying man, I encourage anyone that’s in this same situation to humiliate the people that do this to you and show the world their cruelty. Show everyone what a failure they are in life.

They’ve performed a masterclass in making my wife and daughter cry this season so far.

Sounds awful.  I can't imagine how bad your daughter must feel.

When you say dying man do you mean in the we all die sense or is it something more serious?

Wow, NWS is going with 104 for EUG tomorrow. That would top 1988 (103) and be their hottest September temp on record.

Seems like high bust potential but what do I know.

Took my wife to Cheap Trick/Journey/Def Leppard concert tonight at T-Mobile.   Absolutely gorgeous evening.   It could not have been more perfect.    Also... Def Leppard seems to defy time.    They sounded just like when I saw them last time in concert in 1986 in Minnesota as a kid.

Sounds fun.  My son went to the Pink concert tonight with a family friend.  Still not home.

I saw Cheap Trick with Heart probably in the 1980s, and Journey and Def Leppard both at White River several years ago.  Amazing how some of these bands keep going.

Pretty heavy lifting to get temps like that this late in the season.

I think this will end as the second worst fire season in terms of area burned in BC.  Last years was exponentially worse.

My implant is only doing so much good and headaches get worse. My brain can only hold out for so much longer. I feel like I’m already on borrowed time even though I’m grateful for what Neuropace and the insurance companies have done to help me.

I’m never gonna stop trying to enjoy life no matter what. That’s why when people hurt my family I get so upset.

Smoke will keep the temp under 100F but it’s still gonna be hot.

It just dawned on me that somebody should do a movie about Kevin Martin.  The guy is an absolute one of a kind.  I'm betting the NWS in LA still talks about him.  I was totally unaware that he even got into it with the National Hurricane Center!

Same, I usually think of the songs ‘You Make Me Sick’ and ‘Get the Party Started’ by Alecia Beth Moore as that’s what I remember from my HS days. Indeed, I am also old.

Exactly why I’m leaning towards an early season Arctic Blast. I’m thinking this winter is going to be front loaded. First good opportunity will be mid November to mid December.

Let’s hope for after Thanksgiving. Mid November cold waves are usually pretty bush League here. Hopefully early Dec or around Christmas we get a nice -12c or better 850s down here.
