Still been a weather snooze fest this fall. We hit 34 yesterday morning so we’ve got that going for us. Just 0.87” here almost 1/3rd of the way through the month but looks like mid month we will be getting some decent rain.
FWIW one thing that always interested me is the way the 19th century had almost no cold / snowy Novembers (with a couple of exceptions). For some reason the cold always focused into the core of the winter back then. I've always considered a mild November as more of a good than bad thing. The problem is it requires patience.
It was pretty maritime based with some Fraser River action up north. Pretty classic setup for big time snow here. Arctic air stalled to the north with cold onshore flow to the south.
