It does look like once the current cool period ends, models are suggesting some sort of ridging sets in over the west coast. Of course, being in inversion season, that doesn't necessarily mean warm temps.

Most western lowland locations should finish October near normal.

It would only take a some southerly flow and Eugene could be blessed by some downsloping. All-time November max at KEUG is 76˚F, so a Novmber 80 🍔 is within the realm of possibility.

Got down to 35.5F last night. At least I've now had a somewhat respectable low. Maybe we'll see a freeze sometime in November.
