Just went out and I think it might be too cloudy in PDX metro? Or just not strong enough yet?

Yeah it looks like there are some clouds obscuring the sky, hopefully they clear a bit

Looks like clouds in the EPSL might screw us over.

Definitely doesn't look good. Satellite shows it spreading outward, so some other areas might be about to get their parade rained on too, unfortunately.

Totally clear here, but not seeing anything yet.  I'm not impressed until it's visible without a camera.

I noticed that area of low clouds earlier and am dumbfounded why they keep staying there.

It was visible easily without a camera here… dancing around and spiralling out from overhead. I’m amazed at how bright given we are in a city!

I thought it was the sunsetting earlier.. how it usually looks against clouds, couldn't believe that there were no clouds in the sky!

It's showing up here again, but barely visible this time.

I can kind of see pink with naked eye but very faintly. It is tempting to go somewhere else but that’s probably an hour drive to do so.

Will be at Ross Lake around 9pm until 1am or later depending on the storm. If folks want to join in on this meet up, I'll probably have energy drinks and snacks.

Ugh....I was up for 25 hours straight yesterday traveling back from the east coast otherwise I would be seriously thinking about joining you.
