I consider this to be one of the best moments in rock that I'm aware of.  A lot of people have never heard of the Faces, but this performance is out of this world.  One of those moments where everything came together perfectly.  The best vocal performance I've seen from Rod Stewart, a wicked guitar solo from Ron Wood, who would later join the Rolling Stones, and top drawer bass and drumming.  The one minute or so after the slow interlude is absolute magic.

I think Fairies Wear Boots has to be my favorite Black Sabbath song.  Side 2 (I think it is) of their first album might beat it by a hair though.  That is some serious "hippie" music.

Just had to post this one too.  This Deep Purple song contains what I consider to be one of the top three guitar solos ever recorded.  Coming in at nearly 4 minutes (just the solo) Ritchie Blackmore creates an absolute masterpiece.  Rumor has it he wasn't happy with the solo he recorded for the studio version of this song (which was amazing itself), so he did this to make up for it.
