Both climates are at the same exact latitude. Winter temperatures are similar in both. Anderson, SC is much wetter year round and has hot, humid summers. Both see very little snow. Victorville has a very hot, dry summers with the occasional monsoon storms. Anderson's climate classification is a Cwa climate (Humid Subtropical) and Victorville's climate type is a Bwk climate (Cold Desert). The annual daily mean temperature is very identical for both, 62.0F for Anderson and 61.9F for Victorville.

Victorville has no weather 99% of the year. I think I’d even prefer the SC humidity over the eternal nothingness that is CA climate (save Truckee/Tahoe).

I’d have to go with Anderson. The weather while nice in Victorville is too boring. Hardly any thunderstorms ⛈️ while Anderson gets alot of them throughout the year. Anderson also gets the occasional snowstorm ❄️ while Victorville rarely does.
