I'd love to live in a place that sees snow all the time with long winters. I miss driving so I could one day do that.

Related to that, one downside to living here is that everything is a 2 hour drive away.  Have to go to Bozeman or Idaho Falls for anything more than basic groceries or whatever.

Does not look to be that warm in the coming ridge. And the forests won’t be so dry this time, either. In fact, it looks like ideal mushroom-hunting weather is coming up.

It's called clown range for a reason.

45° with some extreme dew in Everett. Our coldest night yet. Hoping to go another month without a hard freeze so the remaining lawn seed can germinate and get a little bit of protective green.

Or maybe it's because a lot more people on this forum track US cities than Canadian ones? I've literally never looked up YVR's data, personally.

O the snow, the beautiful snow!
Filling the sky and the earth below!
Over the house-tops, over the street,
Over the heads of the people you meet,
Dancing, Flirting, Skimming along.
Beautiful snow! it can do nothing wrong.

It’s way more livable there.  Only reclusive weirdos live down here in the Hebgen Basin year round lol.  Many of my neighbors haven’t bathed since the Obama administration.

Some fun clouds near Steens Mtn yesterday morning. 36º on car thermometer and very windy at the top! The aspens were nice too, right near their peak.

Not sure what causes that pearlescent effect around the edges of the clouds in #2.
