Walt Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Currently in North Platte, Not to brag to all you snow lovers, but this storm has more than doubled our snowfall for the year. 3 inches. (I realize sarcasm is tough to do in print. The snow is pretty and the moisture is welcome.) 7 Quote

The mid/upper level winds are from a similar direction as Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Car washes were 60 cars deep yesterday.. attempted to wash my car 3 times but i wasn't waiting in line... decided to just go this morning no wait in and out within minutes Quote

gabel23 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Light snow finally starting. I’ve been watching my relative humidity like a hawk. Typically don’t start seeing snow until 80% or higher, things started at 69% and has jumped up 7% in the past 10 minutes. It’s crazy watching the snow rate change with the humidity! 4 Quote

Nice returns blossoming further south to fill things in behind the heavy main band too. 1 Quote
Bellona Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Seeing some light rain in Waterloo. I would assume it will change to snow rather quickly. It is 33 currently. Quote

Probably pushing 3 inches I saw Cass County was added to the WSW an hour ago… Lancaster should be next based on current amounts and radar trends. Also noticing the snow could now last further into the night here… past midnight. The upper level low is still clear back in Central Nebraska. Quote
jcwxguy Posted February 19 Posted February 19 If they did half counties, northern Lancaster would be in a warning imo 1 Quote
