Stopped by the lake…Water level is pretty high, mostly typical for the time of year, but maybe slightly higher than average. No sandy beach yet.

Sometimes! Other times it’s my uncle or sister that does it.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

NB reached 60 on 4 days in March... peak of 65 on 3/27 which was just last week and the day I was enjoying a cold beer on the deck.  😀

It is more extreme here in both directions.   Being away from water helps.

Like last Friday... another beautiful afternoon on the deck.   Except this time it's only going to get better unlike last weekend which which went straight into the crapper.

Hot!!!!

Conditions will be warmest in the Cascade valleys
and along the Cascade Foothills, along with the south Sound,
where temperatures are favored to surpass 70 degrees. This
introduces Minor (Yellow) HeatRisk for areas along and southward
of the Puget Sound on Sunday.

LOL I thought this was a joke. Never seen “heat risk” introduced for low 70s.

I'm not a penguin, so I don't like cold. Humans evolved in warm climates

I'm not asking for it to be negative temperatures. 40-50 is very much normal temperatures in many inhabited climates of the world.

If your peak temp is 50 then you have no trees.    Even trees say screw that crap.  😀

Vitamin D is an essential substance and hormone for humans. Don't know what to tell you man.

There must be a reason Alaska runs so many flights to the Desert Southwest and Mexico in February and March.

As expected, March 2026 crushed US Temp record. Beat March 2012 which is number 2 by 1.5C. That's +3 degrees everywhere from previous highest temp record. Interesting spike.

I like my vacation being spent in nature, not under an umbrella "soaking" up the sun. 👍

Of course, rain is suboptimal too. I prefer partial clouds or worst case, drizzle.
