So I've been working hard on a weather project for the forums since the start of the year. I'm excited to share it with you all but it's not quite ready yet for the masses - still adding features, fixing bugs, ensuring data is accurate, cleaning things up, etc. Hoping for a beta launch sometime in the next month or two.

Good to see some local media being objective. BC’s fire season to date is unremarkable. It’s below average. Ontario is another matter. Curious about the western state’ acres burnt to date and how that compares with prior years.

Crown point is good but you lack a S. View for incoming. If you can make it to Timberline, that would be the spot.
If a cell goes in the Coast Range, Bald Peak might be a distant but good spot. Bonus points if one goes to the south there's a really good viewpoint about 3 miles SE (but it is on a Ridgeline so get out once it gets within 5 miles)
